Well, we have a new arrival today. Jessawick got me to buy her a puppy. She located a fellow in Illinois who happens to breed just the type of dog she wanted. Through the magic of the Intarweb, you can order a dog. Remarkable.
For anyone who is interested, here is link to the fellow's
website.
Remarkably, puppies have learned to fly. This one arrived at the airport. Here's the strange part: It was PHL, and it was on time!

Notice the stylish "Live Animals" tag.
Since Jessawick talked me into the dog, I at least got to name it. She will be called "Faraday". If it doesn't ring a bell, remember that I took a lot of physics in college. It's an engineering thing.
She seems pretty well off, considering her flight and unfamiliar surroundings. She sure is tiny.

This is our backyard. We wanted to get her settled as quickly as possible.
After the stop off at home, we decided to pick up a few items for our new family member. We got her a nametag, a tiny puppy-sized collar, and some dishes of her own. She is still so tiny that we are keeping her in her crate for sleeping. A travel crate is spacious, when you are two pounds.
We will likely introduce her to the 'neses tomorrow. We want her to be comfortable. All is well.
In a semi-related matter, this is the first batch of max-res photos in the album.
