I've recently stumbled on a little game that can be described as nothing less than freakin sweet. I present, for your enjoyment, Deanimator.
Deanimator is a flash-based game that runs in your browser. It's story is based on the stories by H.P. Lovecraft, and it's an absolute blast to play. You need to shoot the zombies before they eat you. It's pretty simple. Kill as many zombies as possible, using only your pistol and shotgun, and stay alive as long as you can. Here's a screenshot from the game:
It looks to me that the game was a project by a fellow named Bum Lee, probably as a college assignment. Regardless of why he created it, it's a spectacular game. I've spent more time at it than I care to admit.
If you're interested, here's my opinion on the scoring:
- Scores > 40 - Keep practicing, you'll get there
- Scores > 70 - It's a respectable score, but you can likely improve
- Scores > 100 - This is a good range. You've obviously learned to use the shotgun.
- Scores > 200 - You're a freaking rockstar.
- Scores > 300 - That's me.
- Scores < 20 - Hi there, Skye.
